GLOBAL CELEBRATIONS

Organized annually, the ‘Be The Change’ (BTC) celebration provides our young superheroes from across the world a platform to showcase their stories of change. The celebration honours and recognises these young agents of change for their courage and determination to change the world around them.

As the celebrations bring together young change agents from across the world, giving them the opportunity to not just share their stories but, at the same time, learn from each other – the atmosphere at the celebrations generates positivity, inspires and motivates every participant, creating a real sense of possibility of the changes that our children can bring about in the world. The 2018 Celebration was held in Taiwan.


BTC 2021

On 10th December, 28 stories of change from 5 continents inspired one and all at the virtual BTC Brazil 2021 which was premiered via YouTube. Recognized globally as Human Rights Day, this year, with 'Let's Dream Together' as the theme, the DFC Brazil team showcased the first inclusive (in many ways) BTC - making the day all the more special. In addition to simultaneous broadcast in Spanish, Portuguese, and English, audio descriptions, subtitles, and sign languages were included for viewers with visual or auditory impairments.
